I think I’d like to do a shoot, how does it work?
Once you get in touch, we’ll chat about your preferred style, date, and location. When we’re both happy with the plan, you’ll secure your booking with a deposit. I’ll then create a detailed shoot plan for you to review before the day.
After the shoot, I’ll send you a wide unedited selection of the best images so you can choose your favorites. I’ll then edit your chosen images and send you a private gallery link where you can view and download your high-resolution photos.
Where will the shoot take place?
It depends on the style. We can shoot in a studio, home, or outdoors on location (for example, a beach or woodland). I’m based in Cork and have several favorite locations, but if you’re outside Cork we can work together to find the right setting.
Can we do the shoot at my home?
Possibly! Not every home works well for photography. If you’d like to shoot at home, I’ll ask you to send me a few quick photos of your space so I can check the available light and room size.
I’m not sure how to pose, will you help?
Yes, of course! It’s my job to guide you. We’ll use the shoot plan as a guide, and I’ll direct you into natural, flattering poses that fit the mood and style you’re comfortable with. Most of my clients are not models, so you won’t be on your own.
Will the images from my shoot ever be shared online without my permission?
Absolutely not. I only share a very small selection of my work online, and always with the client’s clear permission.
What if I change my mind about having my images shared?
No problem at all. You can contact me anytime by email or WhatsApp and I’ll remove your images, usually within 24 hours.
Is it ok for me to bring someone to the shoot for support or motivation?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring one person with you. Just make sure it’s someone you feel comfortable with, and who will respect the style and tone of the shoot.
Do I need to bring anything?
I’ll guide you depending on the style of shoot. Outfits and simple accessories often work best. Bringing a few different options gives us flexibility on the day.
